這是部愛情輕鬆小品，劇情很扎實，相信是最近評價蠻高的一部愛情喜劇電影，近期DVD銷售排行榜，這部電影的名次也蟬聯榜上極久，建議大家有空可以欣賞。
休葛蘭不虧是愛情小品劇小生，大部分的作品都走相同的路線，也難怪，的確，他真的很適合演這類型的電影，而令我驚艷的是，休葛蘭唱的也很棒，屁股也扭的很棒，他接拍電影前曾表明他是一個沒有音樂、舞蹈基礎的人，沒想到，電影出來後，感覺跳舞、唱歌對他來說似乎不是問題。

佛萊契是80年代熱門的偶像團體POP的一員，現在則是一個到處跑單幫表演的過氣藝人，突然他出現可由黑轉紅的契機，當紅的偶像小天后Cora是他的粉絲，希望佛萊契能為她量身打造一首新歌。
佛萊契為了事業，接下了這工作，但他不會作詞，他發現常來家裡照顧盆栽的蘇菲，有過人的作詞才華，在他再三請求下，蘇菲答應幫他作詞，朝夕相處下，兩人有了感情。
歌曲完成後，Cora非常喜愛，卻改編成印度曲風，當場讓佛萊契和蘇菲傻眼，佛萊契為了事業選擇不告知Cora他的感想，但大剌剌的蘇菲非常想把心中的想法告訴Cora，也因此兩人鬧翻。
最後，當然是有點老掉牙的劇情，兩人最後又重修於好。

這部電影的劇情應該算其次，反而是劇中好聽的歌曲吸引我一直看下去。
佛萊契和蘇菲共同創作的Way Back Into Love還有惡搞80年代當紅團體的歌曲Pop!Goes My Heart，都會讓你看完電影後，還是朗朗上口；Way Back Into Love這首歌貫穿全場，它暗示著男女主角都缺個伴，也是因為這首歌讓男女主角相愛；而小天后唱的歌其中一首，Buddha’s Delight，MV有點可笑，雖然她的歌曲將宗教和流行結合，反而覺得有點格格不入，尤其她要將Way Back Into Love改編成印度風的Hip Hop，不只男女主角傻眼，我和我妹也差點傻眼，一首好好的歌……似乎點名現在的流行歌曲，為了求銷售，硬要改編成迎合市場的曲風，歌曲原本的感情完全變味。
